The Start of An Amazing New Year!!

As I have reflected these past few days, I have to come to find how much I have changed. This month marks six months that I have been home from my mission. :) It's crazy how the time flies by. I'm in second semester of school online through BYU Idaho and I finally got my driver's permit and I'm one step closer to my license. This hasn't been an easy time I will say. I've had to struggle with my job not giving me as many hours as I hoped and trying to figure out my schedule. However, I have been so blessed to be able to work in the temple. I love having the opportunity to be inside the temple helping others once a week. This is a beautiful blessing that I'm immensely grateful for. Since I have been back home, I feel like I grew up a lot on my mission. :) I'm more serious about school, about work and what I like to do with my free time. :) I really have gained a stronger testimony over these past six months that Heavenly Father cares about all things temporal and spiritual in our lives. :) He will never abandon us and Our Savior is always there to help us to. :) I've been blessed with some great friends. Some are out here in California but a lot of them our in Utah, where there is still a part of my heart there. Thank you everyone for your amazing love and support in all that I do. I now know who my true friends are and for that I'm eternally grateful!!

Blessings Galore!! :)

I have been so blessed these last couple days!! :) I'm so grateful for the opportunity to have served a full time mission for The Church Of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. :) Words cannot express how much I changed on my mission and how much I loved serving in the Utah Ogden Mission. It is the best mission EVER!! :) Maybe I'm a little biased ;) but nonetheless I know that is where I was supposed to go on my mission. I love this gospel and I'm so grateful to have the opportunity to be a member missionary now!! :) I love ya'll and I love Heavenly Father and My Savior, Jesus Christ. My Testimony

I as sit here typing this,I have less then 25 days and counting before I report to the Mission Training Center!!! :) I can't believe it is has gone so fast!!! :) It felt just like yesterday that it was October 22nd and that I received my mission call. :) I'm soooo excited to be going on my mission!! :) I realized today why I'm going on mission. I'm going on a mission because I want others to know about the Atonement of Jesus Christ. It's because of the Atonement of the Savior, that it's possible to repent of our sins and be forgiven. Also, through the Atonement He can help heal us through every trial, heartache, or whatever disappointing or depressing times we have in life. Heavenly Father loves us so much that He gave His Son to suffer for our sins so that we could return to live with Him and Our Savior, Jesus Christ again, one day. How grateful I am for a loving Heavenly Father and for Our Savior who suffered for our sins, who went through the Atonement, for not only all of us but for me as well. I Know That My Redeemer Lives and I'm so grateful to know that Our Heavenly Father and Our Savior are always there for us. I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ,Amen.

New Quote that I love!!!! :)

One of my new favorite quotes. :) I heard this quote about two weeks ago when I was at institute at Costa Mesa Institute and the quote has been on my mind since. I could only post the last part of the quote to my status on Facebook but my favorite part is in my status on Facebook and also some things I will put in parentheses here. I think everybody needs to hear this quote and to read it constantly. I think we forget sometimes that we truly have a purpose here on the earth and that we were given a certain mission here and we need to find out what that is. :)

Called to Serve!! :)

I received my mission call on October 22nd,2010 around 12:30pm in the afternoon. I opened it up at 6pm, when I could have my family and friends there to see me open it. :) I have been officially called to serve in the Utah,Odgen mission. :) I'm very excited!! :) I report to the MTC January 26th. :) It finally has sunk in, I'm going to be a full time sister missionary soon!! :) There has been so many moments in my life that have brought me here to this very point today. How grateful I am to receive a mission call from the Lord, through our prophet,President Thomas S. Monson. I know that President Monson is a prophet called of the Lord. I'm so excited to teach people in Odgen about The Gospel of Jesus Christ. As I prepare to go the temple my heart and spirit are full of joy and hope. I know that I can do anything with the Lord's help. Most of all, I know that my Redeemer lives. I know Our Heavenly Father and Our Savior, Jesus Christ love us so much and have so much confidence in us. They know us better then we know ourselves and they are always there for us. I'm so excited to be going to the temple soon. Isn't that what our ultimate goal is? Is to go the temple? When we were younger in Primary, most of us, sang a song titled: I Love to see The Temple. The last line of the first verse says:, "I'll prepare myself while I am young, this is my sacred duty." Truly the goal is the temple. It will bring us happiness, joy and peace into our lives. :) I'm excited to be going to the temple for myself soon and to continue to go back to the temple again and again. :) The temple is a beautiful and sacred place and how grateful I am that I can go to the temple. I have been preparing myself since I was young to go the temple and now I'm ready. I know by going to the temple, I will have a better understanding of the gospel and I hope to see some of my investigators on my mission get baptized and get an opportunity to go to the temple. :) I'm very excited for my mission but the temple is the ultimate goal to help progress forward and be ready for my mission. :)

Moving forward

I have been so blessed so tremendously lately. My Heavenly Father has blessed with me great friends who have kept me on the path of righteousness. :) About three years ago I felt like I had no hope in my life anymore. I had just gotten out of a serious relationship and it was hard for me to get over. Through the years I have gotten over that relationship and moved on to greater things in life. In fact in these past three years my best friend and I have a closer friendship and I know can tell him almost anything. Also, in the process I became friends with two returned sister missionaries, who right away welcomed me with open arms and these two lovely woman are now two of my best friends and I would do anything for them. I have been blessed to grow closer to my family during this time, especially closer to my mom. My mom is one of my best friends and when she needs to be she is also my Mom and I appreciate that. She has supported me fully especially lately in any decision I make because she knows how she raised me and she trusts me to make the right decision. I have been blessed with hours at work and the fact that I still have a job and I'm truly grateful for that. I have been blessed to see friends of mine get engaged and get married in the temple and how that has blessed there life. In fact one of my best friends is engaged and I'm very happy for her. :) I look back to three years not because I miss it but because I realize I have come so far since then. I'm going to school and working and my future is about to take a lovely twist and turn and I'm so excited for that. :) Life is never certain and we all have our bad days but if we realize that Satan is the one who's trying to bring us down, we don't want him to win, and smiling and laughing and moving forward with Heavenly Father on our side, is how we can combat Satan.
